2025 Wrapped – A littlebig look back at the year

As 2025 comes to a close, I always enjoy taking a quiet moment to look back at the year. It’s something I do every December, and it’s honestly one of my favourite blog posts to write. It’s a chance to pause, breathe, smile at the small moments and appreciate the lovely people I’ve worked with.

This year has been full of those moments, the kind that remind me why I started Littlebigbox back in 2011. Helping small businesses, cheering on start-ups, talking through ideas over a cup of tea, watching websites come to life… it all still makes me so happy.

Here’s a gentle wrap-up of 2025 from my little corner of Romsey.

The projects that made my year and a Little Look Back

I’ve had the absolute pleasure of working with some wonderful clients this year. Each project felt different, but they all had something in common: lovely people behind them.

A few highlights:

  • Seeing clients get excited when they view their draft homepage for the first time
  • Turning tricky briefs into simple, friendly layouts that actually feel like their brand
  • Watching nervous start-ups grow in confidence as their ideas became a real website
  • Helping clients understand SEO in a way that feels manageable — not stressful
  • Creating templates that gave new businesses an affordable way to get online
  • The joy of hearing “we’ve already had our first enquiry!” after a site goes live

These are the things that genuinely make my day.

Those Little wins I will remember

Some moments don’t fit into a service list, but they still matter:

  • Hitting publish on a website after weeks of collaboration and feeling that tiny buzz of pride
  • The back-and-forth messages with clients that turned into lovely friendships
  • Clients recommending me to their friends — honestly the biggest compliment
  • Learning new tools and improving old processes (I’m always tinkering!)
  • Taking on challenges like big content migrations and feeling relieved when everything slots into place
  • Seeing clients’ businesses grow throughout the year and knowing I played a small part in that

It’s the small human moments that stay with me.

Life behind the screens

Outside of Littlebigbox, it’s been a really grounding year. A few things that brought me joy:

  • Gardening is my new little hobby that turned into a proper escape from the screen
  • Watching plants actually grow (a miracle every time!)
  • Joining a Pilates class, which has been such a good way to switch off and look after myself
  • Long walks through the New Forest with pup to reset my brain after busy project weeks
  • Discovering new cafés with very good cake
  • Making time for friends and slow moments

These small pockets of calm balanced out the busier months beautifully.

Looking ahead to 2026

Going into 2026, I’m hoping for more of the same: lovely clients, creative projects, happy websites and a steady flow of kindness and connection. Littlebigbox has always been about people first, and this year reminded me of that more than ever.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me, worked with me or recommended me, it truly means the world.

Wishing you a warm, restful end to the year and a hopeful, gentle start to 2026.
